I'm SO EXCITED to be involved in the Pay It Forward Exchange! I found out about it from the Ravelry site

Let me tell you about it, these are the instructions: "It’s the Pay It Forward Exchange. It’s based on the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness will do the same. (Not that I've heard about this film, and I suspect it's not the sort I would like anyway).

So here’s how it works. I will make and send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange.

I do not know what that gift will be yet, and it won’t be sent this month, probably not next month, but it will be sent (within 6 months) and that’s a promise! What YOU have to do in return, then, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

And, remember...you have 6 months to get your gifts done! Come on, you know you would love to be one of my angels. Then, one day, but you don't know when....you will get a gift that I have made especially for YOU!

Please remember, you don't have to knit or crochet to participate, anyone who can make a nice handmade gift is welcome to join :) Homemade jam, cakes and other goodies welcome! If Monty Python fans have a couple of shrubberies spare, I am game.

Et pour les non anglophones, un petit résumé: au lieu des chaînes du bonheur qui vous demandent d'encombrer les boîtes de 75 349 personnes avec le message qui sauvera la petite Lili d'une maladie mortelle autant qu'imaginaire, il vous suffit, cher ami(e) bloggueur (euse) de me poster un gentil commentaire me proposant de reprendre le flambeau du PIF, et vous recevrez dans les six mois (le cachet de la poste faisant foi) un objet réalisé de mes blanches mains.

Vous vous engagez ce faisant dans un engrenage diabolique (bien que ce geste vous ait rapporté le titre de "PIF angel" (ce qui vaut mieux que "ange du pif")): il vous reste à présent à envoyer un "Pif gadget" de votre fabrication aux trois premières personnes volontaires pour continuer.

Les non tricoteurs ont le droit de participer, tout objet fait-main fait du bien, même et surtout les colliers de nouilles.
