... de dire que mon amoureux m'a fait un beau cadeau: le superbe bouquin de Stéphanie Japel, Fitted Knits dont j'ai commencé à faire le must de la saison : "Back-to-school vest". Bon, je prends quelques libertés : je commence à l'empiècement du buste, dans un point légèrement différent, avec un beau fil soie et cachemire acheté sur ebay lors de ma semaine de folie. l'idée étant que quand le haut sera fini, je pourrai grafter un bas aussi long que la quantité de fil le permettra. Vu mes dons pour le calcul de quantité à partir de l'échantillon, cette technique devrait éviter les déconvenues.
Clutching my pillow last night (a favourite childish habit) felt a bit strange, after seeing "Before the devil knows you're dead" in which pillows tend to be used more as weapons of mass destruction. A good movie, in spite of a few all-too-predictable director's tricks; but then good old Sidney Lumet is I think well over 80. As the old (and pillow-wielding) avenger, Albert Finney is absolutely superb.

Were you out to the cinema or at home with a video I wonder. I kind of hope it was out you know. I visit this place http://www.realinstitute.org/ when I can. Sometimes a bit to obscure for me but always interesting.
