Black panthers on the catwalk

Les défilés de mode, leur glamour artificiel incarné, désincarné devrait-on plutôt dire, par des créatures lunaires interminables au regard vitreux au dessus de leurs pommettes saillantes, ce n'est pas vraiment mon truc.
Et pourtant la semaine dernière, au cours de la "Paris Fashion Week", j'ai reconnu mes copines sur le podium d'un styliste américain installé à Paris (jusque là totalement inconnu de moi, je dois l'avouer).

Rick Owens had a few dozens of zesty steppers from New-York and Washington sororities strut the runway to showcase his new fashion collection, including Heather, Angela and Maxine from Soul Steps, who I'd met when they were doing "Every Little Step: the rhythm of hope" with my son Marc.

How refreshing to see real women bursting with energy, with real bodies and real fun! Even though I must confess I really disliked most of the outfits they were modelling.
