Swift, swap and socks

My favourite physicist drew up all the plans, measured various skeins I have in my stash, calculated the interval between the pegs with a complicated graph, and went to buy the wood from the diy shop; he tried to be discreet about it, but had to let the cat out of the bag, since he had to consult me about the technicalities of skein behaviour.

Et comme c'est la saison des swaps qui commence, sous la houlette d'une hyperactive de Ravelry, Patti, animatrice de Cyclical Swaps, j'ai participé à l'échange "Cup O'yarn", centré sur l'idée qu'on tricote plus heureusement une tasse de thé ou de café à portée de main.
Ma partenaire espagnole aime le violet, l'auriez-vous deviné en regardant ce que j'ai mis dans son paquet.

Of course silly me has forgotten to take pictures of the other two swap packages I have sent out: one to a fellow teacher in Sweden, and one to New-Zealand, containing  a lace scarf, and a few other bits and pieces.
