L'amitié au carré

Il y a quelques jours, via le blog de Mélusine, je suis arrivée chez Patfran, qui est à l'origine de cette initiative; et ce matin, bravant un mistral à décorner les boeufs et la queue traditionnelle de mon petit bureau de poste, je suis allée au village poster mes premiers carrés, modeste contribution au plaid de l'amitié.


Now, I am not sure if I'd had the idea before, or if coming across Patfran's blog prompted it, but I have decided to start an afghan of my own, using the silk I bought last summer, while my musical half was away and I spent more time than was sensible roaming around ebay. It will definitely have an Indian touch with a lot of fuschia and gold. I took the circs to Madrid and knitted one of the squares while queueing to get into the Descalzas Reales convent, much to the embarrassment of my teenage son.
